Try the Free Market... You might like it

The NWA Mechanics' Union is set to possibly strike just after 11pm CDT tonight. Here's a word of advice:

DON'T.

My humble suggestion is that you dissolve your union and try some free market economics for a change. Unions are a thing of the past, and while they served a valuable purpose in improving the standard of living for the masses, it occurs to me that continuing to have unions now is like insisting upon driving your car inside the shopping mall instead of parking it in the lot after it gets you there.

Dissolve your union. Improve your skills. Compete with one another to be the best. Join the 21st Century!

I'm going to laugh my head off when things run better under the replacement workers than with those who would strike for more while their company is headed for bankruptcy.

To be fair, they're striking for "not less" ... They've already made alot of concessions. I know one of these guys personally, and he's been going on 60% salary for some time now. However, my point still remains: Union's got to go.

I stand corrected.

However, how much less than "60%" is the union coughing up in "strike wages"? I've always wondered why unions insist that no one can live on X amount, but aren't even willing to pay half that when the wages come from their greedy little pockets.
