Why I'm not the President of the United States
Published on July 7, 2005 By Arquonzo In Current Events
I've had it. Enough of the fannying about. If the Islamic world can't reign in their extremists, to hell with them. Here's what we'd do if I were in charge:

Today: Give Saudi Arabia 24 hour notice to evacuate Medina.
Tomorrow: Level Medina, on a permanent sort of basis. (level it once a month in perpetuity). Issue statement that the next Terror attack on any Western country (even France, though I despise them) will result in the same fate for Mecca, without warning. Blow up the fucking Dome of the Rock for good measure.
If Mecca is destroyed, move on to other important cities in the Islamic world.

I know this is just my rage speaking. I'm so mad right now I could spit nails.

As much as I hate to say it, I agree. I would also encourage all nations to deny travel to all Arabic/Muslim peoples until this problem is reigned in. Deport them all back to their home nations. Jam or destroy Al Jazeera's network. Perhaps if they are isolated enough by the rest of the world they'll take it on themselves to do something about their own extremists, starting with executing any cleric who preaches hatred and death.

Hoping that this rant is just a way to vent your frustration, you're right, it's a good thing you're not president.

That being said, it would be great to hear about the mainstream Moslem world acting out against those who would seek to destroy the religion's reputation around the world.

This is the very thing....they don't act out, they don't condemn, they don't DO ANYTHING! It's as if they are in agreement by their silence! It's time to end this and drag out these elements. They know where they are, it's time they do something about them!

I would have to agree with most of this. Can someone tell me when was the last time a prominent muslim leader stepped up and condemned terrorism?

There are several problems going on right now. First is how a great many people, mostly on the left, view terrorists as victims and their thought that if we just leave them alone they will all become outstanding citizens. That is just false. Terrorists hate freedom, they hate anybody who isn't muslim, and they are not victims. I used to believe there was a line between islamic extremists and so-called moderate muslims, I don't believe that anymore.

Let me just remind everyone that one of the most dangerous things in the world right now is political correctness. I don't care if someone is offended anymore.

To too many Victim=Respect, so we see how far some are willing to go in order to paint the terrorists as victims so they can justify their respect.

They are nothing more than dangerous animals and they need to be put down permanently. They deserve no better.

I also find it interesting how the liberals here become silent when something like this happens.
